But in France, at this point, long term drug use can be used as a defence - Citing Article 122 of the Penal Code, the judges ruled that Kobili Traoré had been undergoing a "psychotic episode" at the time of the attack on his 65 year old neighbour and that his "discernment" had been "abolished".
